Our Patron and one of our Vice-Patrons will be leaving us this year, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank both our Patron General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of NSW, and our Vice-Patron The Minister for Police and Minister for Emergency Services, The Honourable Troy Grant MP.
Governor Hurley has been a staunch friend and champion of our cause, lending his influence and gravitas to our charity, and lending the backyard of his family home for our Family Day! And Minister Grant has been a constant advocate for NSW Police Legacy, including in his role as BACKUP for Life Ambassador, going as far above and beyond for us as the hills of Papua New Guinea, where he joined us on our Kokoda Trek last year. We sincerely thank you both for your service.
