In January our Chair Gary Merryweather was presented with a cheque for $40,604 from Tony King, President of Police Association of NSW, representing NSW Police Legacy’s share of proceeds from last year’s Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance (funds are divided among Police Legacies all around Australia). We remain extraordinarily grateful to the Police Federation of Australia and the Wall to Wall Ride committee for their ongoing dedication and support of our Police Family, and we have every hope that 2022 will be the year that the ride can break the curse of Covid and re-emerge onto the streets as the glorious memorial celebration that it deserves to be.
