On Saturday 1 July, the third annual Vidal Challenge was held in Blacktown. The event is a friendly competition between NSW Police Force and Australian Army Reserve personnel that celebrates the life of Cst Aaron Vidal, who died tragically in 2020. The event is coordinated by Chief Inspector David Vidal, Aaron’s father. This year, after a run of Army victories, the playing field was levelled a little, with NSWPF taking out the female shield and the Army taking the male one. And like all our favourite events, proceeds go to support the Police Family. Thanks to Edmond Atalla MP for the photos and the support.
