We’ve had a busy few months welcoming new people to the NSW Police Legacy team! As the scope and the reach of our services continues to grow we find ourselves in need of more people to help out with the day-to-day business and all the special projects of the organisation.
This issue we welcome Robyn Elmslie, who joins us full time as Office Manager. Robyn has a varied business background, which includes working with not-for-profit associations, conference organisers, and the private sector. She has travelled extensively and enjoys meeting new people and spending time with family and friends. “I’m thrilled to be in this role working for such a great organisation,” says Robyn, “and I look forward to meeting more people from the Police family.”
We also say a (temporary) farewell to Annette Dunn, Events and Marketing Coordinator, who will be taking maternity leave from the end of August. Go well Annette, and good luck! Covering for her while she’s away will be Stephanie Carde, who has been volunteering here in the office for the last year. Aptly, Stephanie will also be studying for her Master of Counter Terrorism.
One more staffing update – Elizabeth Svoboda, who has been at the helm of NSW Police Legacy for more than five years now, has had a change of title approved at the last Board Meeting. She is now Chief Operating Officer, and will continue to lead us forward with the same strength and grace as always.
