Tertiary Scholarships

Up to five scholarships will be awarded to Police Legatees who completed their HSC in 2018, to assist in undertaking tertiary studies, at University, TAFE and other post-secondary institutions. Download the application form here or call the office if you have any questions. Applications close 22 February 2019. (It’s worth applying even if you think your ATAR could have been a little higher – you’ll never know unless you apply!)

Education Grants

We are now accepting education grants for 2019. Each year, NSW Police Legacy provides over $320,000 in grants to Police Legatees, from preschool students to final year tertiary students. Grants are available for all sorts of education and training, including technical studies, university education, sporting excellence, and police education and training. Download the form here, or contact us for further information. And please remember to send in your educations grant applications by the end of February!

Return-to-Education Grants

If you are an older police legatee who needs to return to education to upskill for better employment opportunities we would love to help where we can so please get in touch with Leisa on 9264 0701.

Kerslake Scholarships

Applications are now open for the Kerslake Technical Scholarship. This scholarship of $5000 will be awarded on an annual basis to an eligible Police Legatee age 17 – 25 years who is pursuing a technical course of study. This scholarship honours the memory of Graham George Kerslake, who had a long standing commitment to teaching students in technical education at St George Community Technical College. To apply simply download and complete the general scholarship application form and return it to Leisa.
