Like all our major fundraising events, the Remembrance Bike Ride has had its share of rescheduling lately. We’ve been thrilled at the support of our dedicated Satellite Riders all around the state in the last two years, and we were also thrilled to finally be able to hold the 3-day ride from Sydney to Canberra! After such a long wait the riders were all super keen, and it was a joy to be a part of such a celebration on two wheels. After spending the first night in Mittagong, the group rode on to stay the second night at the Police Academy in Goulburn, before taking the last leg on day three down to the destination: the National Police Memorial in Canberra, where all the riders – a mix of amateurs, semi-professionals, and International World Champions – came together in remembrance and celebration.
