NSW Police Legacy attended the Police Association of NSW (PANSW) conference May 28-30, which was held this year at the Novotel in Wollongong. There were approximately 200 Police Association delegates in attendance, and we had many productive conversations about how they could get more involved with the Police Legacy family. There was a lot of support for who we are and what we do.

BACKUP for Life coordinator Esther Mckay gained some very useful information about industrial relations at one of the breakout sessions, and will be applying this new knowledge going forward as she continues to help Officers transition into careers outside the force.
The biggest news at the Conference, of course, was the retirement of Scott Weber after eight dedicated years as President of PANSW. Scott has been a loyal friend and supporter of Police Legacy and we wish him all the best in his new position. We also say a very warm welcome to new President Tony King, and look forward to our association going forward!
