National Police Remembrance Day 2021

December 2021

For the second year in a row, we were unable to gather at the NSW Police Wall of Remembrance in The Domain, or the NSW Service Memorial in Surry Hills. We were unable to be there to honour the memories of those taken too soon. For the second year in a row, we realised that no matter the circumstances, no matter the difficulties, we will always remember them.

At a small ceremony on 29 September, the names and the memories of all those on the Wall of Remembrance were honoured, with a moment taken especially for Senior Constable Kelly Foster, the one name added this year. Later that day, another small ceremony was held at the National Police Wall of Remembrance in Canberra.

No matter the circumstances, no matter the difficulties. Never forgotten.
