In late September, two of our Police Legatee families – the Knowles family and the Paine family – made the trek from Coffs Harbour and Orange to Sydney to take part in the National Police Remembrance Day ceremony.
Knowing just how much the children of both families love horses, our Community Support Youth Officer Lauren Smith took them on a tour of the Mounted Unit in Redfern. Indi, Grace, and Sophie all had a wonderful time, and bowled Lauren over with their extensive and encyclopaedic knowledge of all things horse related.
