Education Grants
All NSW Police Legatee children/young adults who attend day care, school, or university/higher education, are eligible to apply for an Education Grant to help with the purchase of IT equipment, books, school uniforms etc. This year you can apply electronically. Tara’s Gift
Tara McLaughlin was a NSW Police Officer and a much-loved supervisor on NSW Police Legacy camps. In honour of her memory, the “Tara’s Gift” scholarship was established to recognise a young Police Legatee who displays leadership, as well as a positive and helpful attitude on camp. This year’s recipient is Isabella Koen (pictured below, centre), who was awarded by unanimous decision, thanks to her kindness and compassion, and in particular for the way she took care of the legatees attending camp for the first time.
