On Australia Day, our Police Legatees were given the rare opportunity to take part in the traditional Ferrython on Sydney Harbour. Our intrepid Community Support Officer / Bear Lady / Roving Reporter Pauline Taylor was there on the day, along with nearly 60 Police Legatees and families, and tells us that the day was spectacular!
The Police Legatees had the privilege of riding in the Pemulwuy, and despite leading the pack for most of the race, they were beaten out in the end by the May Gibbs. Needless to say, nobody’s spirits were dampened by this result.
