Moving Through Grief as a Family

July 2019

The “Moving Through Grief as a Family” weekend took place over the first weekend in July at Quest for Life in Bundanoon. The beautiful setting provided a nurturing, relaxing space for our seven families to come together, focussing on self-care and learning new strategies for moving forward after the loss of a partner and parent.

Therapeutic activities included opportunities to share memories, to learn about grief, and to learn about how others have coped. The program, led by a skilled and caring team, was able to help all of the participants on their healing journeys.

We were able to hold this program thanks to the generosity of the NSW Police Commissioner Michael Fuller APM, who raised the full amount required through his incredible fundraising efforts over the course of the Kokoda Trek.
