We do our best every year to make the Blue Ribbon Ball a bigger, better, and more heartfelt event than ever before. Sometimes we wonder though – after twenty-something years, can we continue to make it even more special? Well, yes. It turns out the answer is yes.
On 29 March 2025 we had the biggest crowd we’ve had in years come out in all their finery to the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour – all there to celebrate with us, to remember with us, and to show support (and raise money for!) our wonderful Police Legatees.
Special thanks to our fabulous MC and Ringleader Chris Bath, who took to the Carnival theme with gusto, to the ever-incredible NSW Police Band for shining the night until it sparkled, and to Police Legatee Warren Proops for sharing his heartfelt story of love and loss, and reminding us all how important this cause is. Massive thanks also to our dedicated volunteers, who helped everything happen so smoothly.
Thank you to the evening’s corporate supporters: Brydens, EML, Hicksons, Makinson D'Apice, AHA (NSW), Dimeo, Hexagon, Wotton Kearney, Maddocks, McCabe’s, Norton Rose Fulbright, and TAL, and to our ever-supportive Charity Partners Police Association of NSW and Police Bank – including a truly inspiring extra gift from Police Bank of $50,000 for education grants for our Police Legatees. What a night!
