What a night! What an emotional, exultant, heartfelt, and joyful occasion! 25 March 2023 was our 21st Blue Ribbon Ball, and we remain in awe of just how supportive everybody was, and how willing all our guests were to join in with the spirit of supporting the Police Family, in whose honour this event is held.
The list of thank yous is enormous - frankly we should list every single person who attended - but we just have to single out MC Chris Bath, back for another uplifting year, the Police Band, who rock our socks off every single year - joined this year by Phil Burton, a sock-rocker of interstellar proportions - the volunteers and Police Legatees who help it all run seamlessly, and our sponsors Police Association of NSW, Police Bank, Hyundai, Brydens, EML, Hicksons, Makinson d’Apice, McCabes, AHA, Dimeo, Hexagon, Linfox Armaguard, Momento Hospitality, Norton Rose Fulbright, Maddocks, Tait Communications, and Wotton + Kearney, without whom this event would not be possible.
Perhaps our most deeply felt thank you goes to Constable Chris McCue, who brought the entire crowd firstly to tears, and then to its feet, with his heartbreaking and heartwarming story of the true meaning of family, of love, and of support. A true reminder of what the night is all about. See you all next year!
