National Police Legacy Day

We’re thrilled to have you with us for the start of a new tradition: 17 June 2025 will be the first National Police Legacy Day. Police Legacies have been supporting Police Families across Australia for 54 years, and now we are coming together nationally to honour this legacy of care. On 17 June this year - and all years going forward - we will honour all police who serve our community, and the families who uphold their memory with strength and pride.

Remembrance Ride 2018: Six Years Strong

Six years on, the Remembrance Riders are showing no sign of slowing down. The annual ride from Sydney to Canberra raised more than $120,000 for NSW Police Legacy in 2017, and 2018 is shaping up to match that.
January Adventure Camp 2018

For the 29th year in a row, an intrepid group of young Legatees – 41 from NSW Police Legacy and 10 from AFP Legacy – joined forces for the January Adventure Camp.
Amy Taylor: Trailblazer

Amy Taylor was the first policewoman in uniform in NSW. She joined the Police Services in 1946, after serving four years in the Women’s Army Services, including active duty in New Guinea.
Police Boxing 2017

The annual NSW Police Boxing Gala Fight Night was held at North Sydney Leagues Club on Wednesday 29 November 2017. Each year, this event sees NSW Police Officers jump into the ring and don their gloves in support of our Police Family.
